HVAC contractor must-haves
An HVAC contractor should always stay mindful of what the customer really wants - from company history to licensed and trained technicians. Not following these customer standards could be costing you major dollars.
Here's an Arizona contractor's go-to list of what your customers should be looking for when hiring you:
1. History of doing business
The longer you've been doing business, the greater your built-in customer trust, appreciation, and track record.
2. Formal training program
Your customers want the peace of mind to know that your technicians are trained to touch their home or business' equipment. A formal training program allows you to market a solid accomplishment (such as NATE Certification).
3. Accommodative scheduling
Make the customer's life as easy as possible and offer emergency and accommodative scheduling. Often customers are annoyed at the huge block of time they're given in regard to when a technician may show up. Whittle down that margin if possible and make exceptions for busy customers - they'll thank you in business and referrals.
